I don't know what I'd do if Isaac died. (I love him with all my heart).

about

Best cuts off of "Colorian Impact - EP II" ... what would have been an entirely different album. I recorded the whole thing over the summer of 2018, but never uploaded anything from it. I suppose it wasn't meant to be. The songs are all still there and good, but these are the only two from it that felt like they needed to be separate.

I had a lot of doubts about things, but I still think I made some pretty music, even if it is a reflection of some sketchy thoughts I had at the time. I knew while making these songs that nobody would be listening to them and it was hard to push through and try to finish them. Luckily, I realize now that the greatest joy is to make all my songs for God and it doesn't matter who hears and who doesn't.

For those who may be interested I did a new technique on this "album," and you can really hear it most on the first track here. I did a lot of layering of one melody, so I'd have 12 instruments or so playing one lead. It was a cool sound but very tedious! It was coming home from 12 hour shifts at the country club to force myself to go through all these songs an unbelievable amount of times to get the blend of all the instruments just right. I think I am finally now, in April of 2019, coming back around to this project as I've taken some time off from it (I started recording EP II in July of 2018).

I did a lot with new percussion on the EP II project, as well. If I have any fans who are interested, I attached as instrumental bonuses some of the other songs that were supposed to be on "Colorian Impact - EP II". I still think they sound cool but not good enough to make you buy.
